Spiritual & Meditation Retreats Itinerary (5 Days)
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu. Visit Memorial Chorten and join locals for prayers. Evening introduction to Bhutanese spiritual traditions.
Day 2: Meditation at Cheri Monastery
Hike to Cheri Monastery through pine forests. Join monks for silent meditation and basic mindfulness practice. Return to Thimphu for evening prayers at a local monastery.
Day 3: Dochula Pass – Punakha Retreat
Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass, stopping at the 108 stupas. Visit Chimi Lhakhang and enjoy riverside meditation. Evening reflection or light meditation at the lodge.
Day 4: Punakha to Paro – Kyichu Lhakhang & Blessing
Return to Paro, visit Kyichu Lhakhang for a simple blessing. Spend quiet time in the temple gardens for walking meditation.
Day 5: Tiger’s Nest Monastery – Departure
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, meditate at a quiet spot if permitted. Descend and transfer to Paro Airport for departure.
